My name is Mike Peterson and I am an amateur photographer from the Midwest.  Photography has been an inspiring and rewarding hobby that is fueled by my fascination and love for nature and the outdoors. It has opened up new opportunities for travel and exploration that I might not otherwise have pursued. Above all it has taught me the virtue of patience and has given me a greater respect and appreciation for nature and the living things that share the planet. I created this site to share this fascination and enjoyment with others.

All images at this site were taken with the Canon 10D or D60 and a small collection of Canon lenses.
